Acqua Clor
Acqua Clor has an exclusive manufacturing technology, which allows an excellent chlorine stability in the water, resulting in lower product consumption during treatment in WTP and effective reduction of microorganisms present in the water.
Stability of Acqua Clor in comparison with conventional Hypochlorite:
BENEFITS
Comparison between Acqua Clor and conventional Sodium Hypochlorite products (commodities):
EFFECTIVENESS
- Acqua Clor: very effective against bacteria, fungi, viruses and protozoa.
- Sodium hypochlorite: limited effectiveness.
COST
- Acqua Clor: low cost, requires a smaller quantity of product for its effectiveness.
- Sodium Hypochlorite: needs a larger quantity of product to have an effective result.
TOXICITY
- Acqua Clor: low. Acqua Clor has in its formulation a composition that prevents the formation of THM and Chloramine.
- Sodium Hypochlorite: high. Great possibility of THM and Chloramine formation in the presence of organic matter.
CORROSIVITY
- Acqua clor: low due to corrosion inhibitors.
- Sodium Hypochlorite: high corrosivity, due to the formation of HClO-(Hypochlorous Acid) ions.
STABILITY
- Acqua Clor: high residual chlorine stability. Approximately 40% higher than conventional sodium hypochlorites.
- Sodium hypochlorite: low stability.
APPLICATION
Indicated for water disinfection for human consumption and water disinfection in WTP (Water Treatment Plant).
